Coming Home

I’ve come home, to the town where I was born (sounds like a song). This town has grown and is as lively and colorful as a young teenager, even though I know it is the place my grandmother called home.

I’m creating a new home, a new community, new friends, and new habits and hobbies. Why not? This is the fourth quarter in the game of life for me. I’m playing full out for the win!

I’m learning to play a musical instrument, I’ve joined the Audubon Society, and I have online and IRL writing groups. This is a created life for the fulfillment of my dreams. My. Dreams. Unfettered and free.

The grief has loosened its grip. I thank it for serving me and getting me to where I am now.

I have a new book series – Hazy Shades of Time – in the cloud with Book One edited, revised, and awaiting its cover design. Whoo-boy!

I’ve cooled down my writing a bit, though it still smokes and steams from time to time. My characters are strong, beautiful people who look for love in other strong, beautiful people. In book one, we meet Sandy just leaving her higher education to arrive in a career far from her original choice. In book two, we deepen the story with Molly, who has had time to find the downside of love and life in general and now will not settle for less than “all of it.” Finally, in book three, we get to know Jane, who discovers that love doesn’t care about age. And it is more than attraction to a sexy body.
