Touted as a young genius with a golden future he has slept, eaten, and worked this trial for the last several years with a single-minded dedication with just this result in mind. He has been on the cover of TIME and has been interviewed by Oprah. His future as an attorney is assured and there is talk of running him for office. 

He’s finding the older attorneys (they are all older attorneys to him) stultifying, grandstanding and money-grubbing. They say there is just one more thing he needs – a wife. He can’t imagine being married to one of them.

What Matt says he needs is a vacation. He heads out to the Hot Springs in Colorado, where he runs into Jessica James, one of his house mates at Bliss House. They: But then she goes to Guatemala, saying she’ll be back in a month.
