I thought I would show you who I picked to be the inspiration for Jackson B. Markham III.

When starting a story I want to get a picture of the characters firmly in my mind. This was an issue for many years until I hit on the plan of picturing an actor or actress and using that as an inspiration for the character. That way the person didn’t start the book with blue eyes and end up with hazel eyes…I’m only human you know?

But wait, can you just do that? Hmm, well I expect Mr. Holloway would not mind his image being put before a completely new audience – you. And well, he is inspiring is he not? And guess what when looking at this picture, I kinda don’t care what color his eyes are. You?
